I have dissociative identity disorder, and 50 more alters have introduced themselves to me. Yesterday, I came back to find that Stacey one of my alters was holding a broken cd to my wrist. She was trying to slit my wrists… All my alters want to die except the littles. Their feelings are filtering to me.

I understand, I have dissociative identity disorder too and I know how overwhelming alters can be. You’re doing the right thing by talking to your therapist. That’s very brave of you 🙂 This will get better I promise you, you must hold on.

I’m possibly going to the hospital tomorrow… Just can’t take this anymore… I’m totally blind, and I come back to find things held against my wrists. This is scary. I can’t even call a crisis hotline without the staff at my facility taking away my phone…

It sounds so awful but going to the hospital is the first step to this all going away for good. I know that sounds hard to believe but you have to keep fighting. And when you say your facility, what do you mean? xx
